I, Esme (11 years old), get very saddened when I see people who need help, care and love and who are living on the streets. I wanted to do a bit to help people without a place to live by raising money for St Petrocs, as a local charity working to tackle homelessness in our county. My two home-ed friends, Amber and Bonnie, wanted to do the same and we hope we will make a difference, no matter how small.
What are we doing?
We are going to be walking the Saints Way (approximately 30 miles) over 2 days. We will be starting at St Petrocs Church in Padstow on Wednesday 18th June and finishing at Fowey Church on Thursday 19th June.
I am also holding cake bake sales at our family campsite in Padstow over the camping season. Rebecca Smith
